Location, cleanliness, superb standard of decor, friendly & welcoming proprietors & staff.
The food was excellent. Ist class dinner & breakfast. Staff were very attentive & worked hard.
We were one week in Scotland, staying every nights in different places. All the other Hotels, Guest Houses, and b&b, booked at Booked.net were very good, but this was definitely our choice as the best place we stayed. Superb host, great staff. Very warm welcome, great dinner. Wonderful room with a mountain view. Excellent breakfast. Couldn't ask for better. Thank you Glenspean Lodge Hotel staff. Want to be back!
Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, service was excellent, real value for money and we would definately stay there again. A jewel in Scotland and will recommend to family and friends.
One very minor downside was the speed of computer/internet connection which was slow and time consuming.
The owners were very friendly & helpful, our rooms were very cosy and clean. We had a very good breakfast and great dinner in the evening. Our children 9 & 11 enjoyed their stay in this family run hotel.
Everything was nice and comfortable with friendly staff. The room was neat and fascinating. The food in the restaurant was also fantastic at reasonable price. We want to visit again.
The decor and the friendly management
Extra bed could have been more comfortable
Clean, spacious rooms, interesting design. Good breakfast and dinner.
My wife and I enjoyed everything about our experience at the Glenspean Lodge Hotel, the proprietors and staff were excellent, attentive without being intrusive, friendly, very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The food was wonderful with an excellent choice for all tastes. Our room was bright, tastefully decorated, warm and very comfortable. The en-suite facilities were also first class. The views from our room were beautiful, ranging from the well tended gardens to the mountains. Another thing that I particularly enjoyed was the gymnasium. (I had to work off those wonderful meals).
We did not like having to leave.
food was not great but generally ok, not able to get a lunch at 2.10pm, not even offered a sandwich, my evening meal curry had stale poppadoms. bar service and the owner were good and attentive. Our room was small and too hot with no heating on. we checked out 2 days early as weather was so lousy. Fort William is not a place we will return too in a hurry !
Glenspean Lodge is a beautiful hotel, set in stunning surroundings. We were made to feel very welcome by the proprierters and were taken to our room upon arrival. The luxurious bedroom and large bathroom, together with the amazing views, were a lovely suprise. After enjoying a fantastic meal in the restaurant, (we can strongly recommend the homemade steak pie), we spent some time in the games room, followed by an hour in the hot tub. After being served a great breakfast the following morning, we sadly had to leave. Glenspean Lodge was one of the best and most memorable hotels we have ever stayed in, and we look forward to returning.
Friendly and attentive staff, high standard of cleanliness and superior decor and fittings in bedrooms.
Didnt like the cooked breafast, avoid the greasy haggis, el cheapo sausages and the tinned mushrooms !,,, give the scrambled egg a miss also..resembles a hockey puck and did'nt taste much better !
The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is set in beautiful grounds with a fantastic view. We would not hesitate to recommend it.
Staff waited for our late arrival and were friendly and helpful.
Rooms were warm...would help to open windows before arrival
